Needless to say, the past week has involved a lot of meals made with tomatoes — an insightful exercise in cooking with (and trying to get rid of) ingredients that are already available at home. After learning how to be a bit more resourceful with my refrigerator and pantry, I decided to try the same thing with cocktails, so I made a drink using whatever was already in my kitchen. I combined lemons and simple syrup — two ingredients I always have on hand — with Angostura bitters and Beefeater 24 , a tea-infused gin. The result? brisas Fresh and Fruity Cocktail Feb 21, 2011 1:08 PM My friend recently treated me to this tasty cocktails, it combines a bunch of fresh citrus, cucumber, mint, vodka and a touch of soda water! It was delicious and refreshing, perfect for a spicy dinner!
Aquadave Pearadise Feb 7, 2011 4:56 PM Wow refreshing!!! 1oz pear vodka splash of lime juice 1 1/2 oz sprite shake the vodka and lime with ice add sprite lightly stir. Pour in a tall glass (never shake anything carbonated when mixing it looses it's fizz)
